Ooh interesting! I thought Atticus might have better management of headings and such (which is important for my internally hyperlinked ebook version) but is there any particular reason why Vellum is better?

I have Atticus and it's... fine. The last time I formatted with it, the heading options were pretty limited.

I can't speak to whether Vellum is better on that score but it gets VERY high praise from my friends who use it.

For me, I feel like I am constantly fighting to make Atticus do things it was not intended to do, and my needs are relatively basic.

Yeah I just wasn't sure how flexible heading stuff was, format-wise on Vellum or if it and universally frustrating experience no matter what software of you want to do anything remotely different with them.

I am happy to format stuff for other authors on Vellum for a small, reasonable fee (just compensation for my time) but at this moment I’m putting every spare minute I have into a tight editing deadline 😩
