with all five senses engaged in a shared cultural experience, there is a form of communication happening in the room that transcends language. the same thing happens in a church congregation. a lively concert does the same thing. 9/X

in short, shared material experiences result in shared states of consciousness that transcends the capability of language. note that when i say "shared states of consciousness," what i mean is that each individual's state of consciousness is unique, but they all share common characteristics. 10/X
now i will discuss radical thought. radical thought is the process of at least temporarily reconstructing one's worldview completely to align to the sensibilities of the other. this can be accomplished by listening to the other with care and working backwards to uncover what way of thinking... 11/X
gives way to the opinions the other holds. then, by some kind of analysis, meditation, or empathy, one must at least temporarily mold their consciousness into the shape of the other's. this is easy to get wrong, as it's easy to project your preconceived image of the other onto your rendition. 12/X
so this technique is limited to use by masters of philosophy. Since the average person is incapable of enacting a radical thought understanding, the only way for the masses to truly communicate is through shared experience. however, people value freedom more than shared experience. why? 13/13
