Wrinkle appreciation thread! I know society tries to make us feel bad about visible signs of ageing, but as with so many things society is wrong. Ageing is GREAT. Growing older means you’re not dead yet. If we’re lucky, we grow old.

And I can't for the life of me remember the other one.
They were referring to my smile wrinkles.
It’s one of my most treasured compliments.
I can't agree with this enough. I lost my best friend last year, same age as me, late 40s.
Ageing is a privilege and we need to squeeze every bit of joy we can out of life.
As for wrinkles - give me character and originality over being a Stepford Wife any day!
Their wives are finding it tough.
Life is what we have and is a privilege of nature.
Use it wisely, but use it as much as you can.
The alternative is grim.
