I was thinking that if he ever got caught it might be a good idea to go to the courthouse and hold a "Jury Nullification" rally/protest.

Just stand outside the courtroom with giant signs says JURY NULLIFICATION! and just chant about it.

Really try and get the Jury to know that it's a thing

People probably aren't going to riot for the release of a murderer, and he's on video waiting for his victim to show up before shooting him three times in the chest with marked bullets, the evidence of premeditation is pretty obvious.

But maybe you're right, dumber things have happened.
