I spent over a decade trying, I was chairman for my county, worked for the dem party as a volunteer, helped get election workers, I've made casseroles and taken candidates to meet and greets at restaurants. Helped register voters and now I am leaving Texas. They won't change, let'em rot.

I'm talking about building community gardens, hosting card game events and movie nights, having art events, and supporting eachother outside of political alignment. A community of people, not voters.
Its a hard, awful battle, but it's worth it to see our future generations not grow up with the same cycles of hate we've had to put up with.
We need to foster these communities instead of giving up on them
