Update:
It’s 22 February
This snow fell on the 16th
No one has cleared the intersection yet. (It’s still a main access point to an LRT station!)
The intersection remains impassible for many people and a huge obstacle for everyone else.

This is beyond insulting to the people of Waterloo.

I needed to walk up to my local grocery store (Columbia and FH) and the wall of snow on the north-west corner was crazy. It made crossing more dangerous. And given pedestrians would likely be crossing with groceries -- a real barrier for those without access to a vehicle.

Here's also a beg button atop a mountain of snow. It's at Block Line transit station and needs to be pressed in order for the light to allow people to cross the five lanes of 60km/h+ traffic on Courtland Ave.

I hear your frustration. Priority areas are flagged by city/regional staff Snow loading started across the city to reach areas that cannot be serviced by plows -sidewalks, school loading zones, LRT, intersections, narrow roadways, bridge decks, sidewalks and trails.

I don’t know how else/where else to scream this. Especially with an imminent election - how exactly are disabled voters supposed to get out to vote?! We can’t get off our street, let some anywhere else.
