It just goes to show you the US was never the “greatest country” on the planet.
Capitalism is a failed system that we are all clearly seeing right now. It essentially works for those with the means.
MAGA voted for this disaster, and now our kids & our grandkids will pay a steep price for stupid.

The Australian one is not correct. 32 hours at minimum wage is $770 ($US489) per week. That will not keep you out of poverty. Median rent for a one bedroom apartment in my town is $420 ($US266) in the capital cities it's much higher.
