I just went to see them in central Indiana. Not really bright but saw them. It was pretty. My wife says she saw it better through the camera but I liked just eyeballing it.
Wishing you the joy of seeing Aurora. I know it's rare there. I will be in my comfy bed in WI. Been working my veg bed all weekend and there's no way I can stay up.
I just tried to go to the hills south of the Syracuse area. It's too cloudy. The weather satellite shows no clouds south of Cortland. If I didn't have to work tomorrow, I'd head that way.
My Aurora Alert popped off few minutes ago- 1% at Horizon. I think it will intensify for better chance of seeing more activity here in southeastern corner of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. I actually got to check it off bucket list last November from top of Blue Ridge Mtn. not far from the house!

(and the projected intensity has apparently dropped)
Our local meteorologist says chances are not good.
As a weather nerd and Montana girl, I don't see them because I am too far south now.
I will be looking.
I miss them.
This is on my bucket list. And if ever there was a year to achieve that goal, this should be it, but alas.

This is usually how an alien abduction begins.
Hope there will be tons of location pictures available tomorrow.
