Dec. 25, 1776. Part 1
Driving home today from NYC, I noticed that the Delaware River near Trenton was still largely frozen. Reminded me of the bravery and heroism of Washington’s troops who crossed the river on a brutally cold and stormy night to defeat Britain’s Hessian mercenaries in Trenton.
