UK nests of Little Egret have gone from 0 in 1998 to ~1600 in 2023. All Egrets are on the rise, moving north + west through the UK as climate changes.

Little Egrets are consistent and reliable, and can get surprisingly old. Little Egret No. 1 that @davidelement.bsky.social watches is at least 10 years old..
