Cunning as I am I'm no linguist but why doesn't "anti-islamic" carry the same gravitas or weight as "anti-semitic" appears to?

There have been more that enough times he should have lost that show on HBO. He's been dropped before by a network hence how he ended up on HBO in the first place.

You say something that's clearly anti-Islamic and "good" people will tell you how it's not "hate" it's simply a fact that Islam is awful. I'm both Black and Muslim. It happens with both identities.

I always think of that moment in 2008 how the admirable response to “he’s a Muslim” was “no, he’s a good family man” and nobody seemed to think there was a problematic implication.
