I really used to love visiting the U.S. I admired a great deal of your poetry and art. But the underlying infection of hate and racism that Black, POC, and Indigenous scholars and artists diagnosed as your destruction has taken over the body politic with a vengeance.

This is sadism. If you aren’t a sadist and you are okay with this, then it is highly likely that social and group pressures have compromised your ability to clearly reason through how words and actions connect back to your values.
