A lawyer for Kelly Meggs, the big former Oath Keeper pictured above, said the Oath Keepers didn't discuss their appeals with Martin. But we know Douglass Mackey, aka Rickey Vaughn, who also appealing a conviction, at this event directly asked Martin to intervene in his case.

Lately I've been thinking that our most effective tool in fighting fascism needs to be forcing the media to call out the lies and misdirections of the administration. Perhaps our protests should be in front of media corporate offices. (But it is a conundrum because we need the media to be strong...)
