We use Synology for docs and also for photos. No AI as far as I can tell.

I honestly haven’t noticed intrusive AI with MS office. Copilot is there, but I’ve never noticed it being in the way.

The first email that dumbass button appeared for me on was literally one sentence, and the "summary" was longer than the email. Another useless, wasteful "feature"

you can still buy copies of actual MS Office. https://www.stacksocial.com/ has licenses.

LibreOffice will also never have AI and is, of course, free.
