Based on my experience spending half my life in Trumper TX, many of these people are angry because they lost unmasked/unvaxxed friends and family during the worst of Covid… They now know that masks work, and they can’t handle the unnecessary loss of loved ones.

I rarely go out anymore. I've always been a homebody so its normal for me to distance. Also, I'm 70 and have always gotten sick easily. My guy does our shopping.
When I do go out I wear winter type gloves and wash them when I come home. Was sick before covid was "officially" here.
