I know he knows. But to pretend not to know isn’t the “cover” he thinks it is; it makes him look incompetent with no ability to oversee his administration. Figurehead achievement unlocked.
He also doesn’t understand technology so didn’t see when first asked why this is so embarrassing. Maybe he can ask his tech genius son, who knows how to turn on a laptop, for more info.
