This is my gratitude, too.

In that week when Musk bought Twitter & started bungling it, the possibility occurred to me that he'd bought it to end its usefulness as a pro-democracy tool. I'm so grateful for BlueSky & the fact that we're all here now & that it's increasing possible to get our news here too!

I believe THAT is the real reason for the TikTok ban. Why would the Chinese go to such lengths to get our data when they could just BUY it from a US owned company?
