“My truck is arrowproof! My truck is bulletproof” I shout out the vehicle’s window as autopilot drives me down a busy street at 60 mph. The AI mistakes a plastic bag blowing in the wind for a boulder and swerves off a bridge

I saw a clickbait headline saying it might do zero-to-sixty in under three seconds, which really is the critical benchmark people need satisfied when looking for a pickup truck.
60 mph is only 27 meters/sec, so if you accelerate smoothly that's only 1G of acceleration. Probably safe! The collision comes later, when they're playing a video game as the car does "Full Self Driving" - which a court just today found does NOT mean Tesla has any responsibility for a collision.
On the bright side, the truck is undamaged after hitting the ground, gracefully transferring all force into the only pliable part of the vehicle: your body.
Sincerely hope I never get into a fender bender with one of these things because I guarantee the driver was tweeting the whole time they were driving, couldn't see any sedan within twenty feet of the vehicle, and will be absolutely apoplectic that their "bulletproof APC" has scratched paint.

Guns people have here are mostly long hunting rifles, and bullets from those would hardly notice Tesla panels.
