Mutti’s tinned San Marzano tomatoes have made the delicious sauce ever to emerge from my kitchen. 1/2 price in Waitrose, but now I will absolutely pay full price.

I’m very very basic. Generous glug of olive oil, oregano, chilli flakes, garlic sliced as thinly as eyesight and hands allow. Tin of tomatoes, S&P and on lowest possible heat. Squeeze of Tim purée and anchovy paste. Lid on. Check occasionally and add splash of water if needed. The end.
