It’s cause they’ve only lived in 1 kinda world-belief system. They don’t really know how to traverse the political range & be persuasive—instead they “radicalize themselves & their audience.” They lose their spine as they circulate through the political spectrum. It’s hard to ride an inversion.

The bits I e heard show Newsom countering the lies in such a way the right wing guest misreads as praise and makes them look foolish. I’m just glad we’re seeing clips of a left leaning podcast rather than bombarded with far right propaganda 24/7 by both left and right social media accounts.

I did listen to it! I think they look bad on their own, but I think this makes them look even better to their own audience and Newsom didn’t push back against most of their claims. And even when he did push back he capitulated after they doubled down.
