Really enjoyed "Ember of the Hands" (thanks @thecelticist.bsky.social for posting the reck) - about less known aspects of Norse life and culture from the perspective of archeology - life of woman, homes, games, instruments, slaves, childbirth etc. Illuminating and fun to read, highly recommend.
