My take on this is that the strictness of voter laws must be in inverse proportion to how easy it is to get valid proofs of eligibility to vote. if they can't make it easy for American women to get voting rights certified, they have no right to make it hard to prove those rights.

Social Security cards are proof of of citizenship. If you're in the system, voting rights should be there. I know some temporary visa holders hold SSI cards for tax purposes. And the systems should link and disallow temporary visa holders from voting. Not hard.

Anecdotally, every woman I've worked with across my federal land management career has had at LEAST a bachelor's, even in positions that theoretically don't require one. Multiple men in those same positions didn't have degrees.

Nps, women with master's would often take a permanent position as an administrative assistant (associates level position) for a year to get status so they could compete for perm jobs in their field.

The Federal Office I worked in, every dedicated woman had a Masters (or getting one) and many went to law school for a JD to just be better at their job. At night, after working stressful job, on their own dime of course. Won’t attract those kind anymore.

A very true thing is that many people are delighted to find a justification for belittling and demeaning white women. It gives them license for things they’d probably love to say anyway.
