Actually pretty cost-effective to provide Uber rides in an EV, even a Tesla. Fuel is a big expense and if you charge at home you could be paying 1/4 as much

The first I saw were the coveted free supercharging forever Model S’s which I thought brilliant for an Uber driver but not so much for a Tesla shareholder. But now it is a new thing.
