Basically we have a rapidly growing town between Denver and colo springs. Old school residents panic about any new development and the higher the density the more they freak out.The downtown has had some awesome improvements (that the old people hate) but the rest is just low density sprawl.
Agree. It’s pretty bad. I went to the meeting and the gist is: the land is going to be developed. It’s currently unincorporated county land.The town wants to annex so they have more say etc. It’s sprawling by design so nearby homeowners don’t balk at the annexation.
