The US national security clusterfuck is leading the BBC News in the UK. Anchor Clive Myrie doesn’t know whether to laugh or just stare down the camera lens and scream, “WTF?!” Vance & Hegseth trash-talking Europe is picked up strongly. Trump’s US is a global laughing stock.

Wow. Rep. Chuck Edwards is getting torn apart at a town hall in Asheville, NC. “I’m a veteran & you don’t give a fuck about me. You don’t get to do this to us!” Edwards orders veteran to be thrown out. We’re approaching a tipping point now. Anger across the country is going to boil over soon.

Senator Mark Kelly was commander of the Space Shuttle. He flew four missions to space. He flew 39 combat missions in Iraq. He went to visit Ukraine for himself & is calling for its freedom to be defended. So, Elon Musk brands him a "traitor". I’m careful with language on this site. Fuck Musk.

I like the idea of economic blackouts. Consumers have power! What else can consumers do to impact the economy? 1.) Stop eating beef (probably all meat but beef is a good place to start). 2.) Stop buying new clothes if you can avoid it. If you need something, find an ethical manufacturer.

We don't "believe the science" because some authority like Newton tells us its true. We accept the science because it works. We can confirm it ourselves. These kids got one shot at this. Needless to say they were pretty excited the mathematical model they created worked.

Little train station in Hinsdale, Il. I grew up 3 stops over. From the age of 10-15 we would take the train from our home station to a handful of other close by “downtowns”. This one had a great little diner we thought was cool. Others a movie theater or card shop. Had no idea how good we had it!

For the past 1-2 yearsI’ve taught a “design lab” class at school. We have a laser cutter/engraver, 3D printers etc. I’ve had to teach myself Adobe Illustrator and other skills but I’m improving! Made my wife this gift back in November. Our house is very mid-century so tried to emulate that style.
