Lingodeer is really great. It's not free (and not on this list) but it's all voiced by native speakers. It goes on sale often for lifetime access (it's currently 75% off I think). I've used it for both Japanese and Chinese! That plus Anki for vocab is my go to rn for Japanese.

I was going to post this article this weekend but Duolingo's recent doubling down on replacing humans with generative AI pushed me to get it out sooner.
