This is so wild to me bc in the wellness/body care dept at my old job literally the 1st thing that was pounded into my head was "We are NOT doctors, you are NOT a medical professional, you CANNOT give medical advice" yet I still got so many customers acting like we were more trustworthy than MDs

I always hated it because here in the UK, it is used as a way of giving us mentally ill no help -"Have some wellness! Listen to music! Walk in the country!" No support workers unless you pay through the nose, no drop-in centres. Go buy a scented candle.
