Yes, I have filled out a DHS TRIPS redress application, which I think might be what you are referring to. The MP is also good advice, sadly I their office almost immediately and they were utterly useless essentially just saying sorry but the US gets to do what it wants.
No I mean on the Canadian side.. there is supposed to be redress in Canada for any interactions you object to or have questions about. I suspect it’s pretty facile and pointless, not unlike what your MP office but it was added after massive protest to the original iteration of the draft legislation
