I'm a bit confused by how the Cocijo CG is working last night after cashing in 41 Million in bonds the CG panel said I had earned 31,505 Credits. Just now I cashed in an additional 42 Million in Bonds but the CG credits haven't changed. Anyone else seeing this? #EliteDangerous - ThreadSky

From what I gather this isn't the same as normal CG, The contribution is tracked when your attacking the heat core of the Titan and isn't related to handing in. I had 44,340 contribution without any hand in.

I suspect the contribution isn't measured in credits and the CG page is showing credits instead of whatever contribution units it's actually in

Yeah I was really only wondering why it's showing 2 completely unrelated numbers. The rewards aren't tied to a specific level of contribution and it's my 8th decal I'm only concerned about

No I didn't because it says that signing is not necessary so I also don't understand why it was even an option if you don't have too. Really not well thought out and confusing.

I didnt sign up for the cg either so it seems people on both sides have the same issue, def needs looking in to because that seems a little broken.

I just logged to Main Menu and it had updated when I got back in. It's now showing 57,000 CG credits for an actual cash in of 83 Million Crs in combat bonds which is very confusing

Yeah it reads to me as though any level of contribution suffices to get the rewards so I wasn't really complaining about that it's just very confusing showing two completely unrelated numbers

The counted credits are proportional (but not 1:1) with the damage you do, and are different from the credits your actual bonds are worth. They're basically just a measure of pineapple HP damage dealt.

The credits you get for the CG (different from the bounty) appear to be small, and are really just a counter to assess achievement within the CG. Only damage to the Titan Thermal Core counts. It does seem to be a bit confusing how it works. Perhaps there's a delay?

As I recall from last night, the CG participation was registering while I was still with the Titan. I only had to leave to cash in the combat bonds.

Yeah I logged out to the main menu just after posting and when I got back in it had risen from 35k to 57k. To be honest it feels like it was put together in a hurry. I mean why say you don't need to sign up for it and then have a sign up option adding to the confusion.

It may be a kludge, but eliminating the sign-up for CGs seems a sensible change to implement properly in a future build. If you're doing the CG thing, it's quite likely you're doing it because of the CG.

Not always, though. In a goldrush CG you want it to last instead of finishing it early. Like the Golconda buying enough Tritium for 50 roundtrips to the Andromeda Galaxy for halv a million per unit.
I think we were all sad to see them leave... 😁
