I keep thinking about how we were on track toward effective zero veteran homelessness, and this administration is gearing up to send us hurtling in the opposite direction.

Actually...there were 40,000 Veterans such as myself, who were left at risk of homelessness from the CARES Act that was drafted during his first term with no provisions, etc.
And now they've gutted the one organization holding the floodgates on the Foreclosures: CFPB.
If you were *trying* to make more veterans homeless, you would
-gut the VA
-abandon Housing First as official policy
-pursue economic policies that will kill homebuilding and raise rents.
Just wait until they start framing vets with disability as takers, especially if they also receive social security or were medically retired for non-combat injuries.
The VA has said that racial equity is key to ending veteran homelessness and now the page that said that, which was VA policy and strategy, are down. The VA has not given me a clear answer if its policy has changed.

All of which this administration is doing.

Like trump would ever give a single fuck to help those he called "suckers and losers" who gave a thumbs up for a photo op while standing on graves.
