also was frustrating was Schumer's messaging while this was going down. No one outside DC knows what a CR is, and he never engaged the public on a bill that was essentially DOGE 2. He is unfit for this moment.

I trust your opinion so I'd love to understand your perspective better. If we had filibustered the CR what do you think would have happened next? I think Democrats would be blamed and would eventually just cave. Also, besides restoring the DC budget (which will now happen anyways) what was the ask?
