BOTD 1925 Paul Newman. Crew of Avenger flying off USS Bunker Hill. Was grounded during invasion of Okinawa on in 1945 by illness of pilot. He lived but 396 crew of the carrier killed from Kamikaze attack. I saw him in Paris many years later & still cherish that moment.
