I'm a get into a series and read the entire thing kinda reader, with breaks only if my fave authors put out something new or i have a book club must-read. Nothing like 10+ volume series that is new to me

I used to do that! It was fun. Now I often am reading multiple books at a time, so it is less frequent that I go through a series without coming up for air…but sometimes a series manages to catch me in its thrall and I drop everything else until it is done 😂

I used to be a strict TBR person and I had a system but now, I’m a mood reader because I’m just too busy - if it doesn’t grab me I’ll shelve it and try another.

I’m a seasonal mood reader heavily influenced by whatever genre of movie or game I’ve watched/played recently. Fall was heavy on dark academia and horror, this winter I’ve been veering toward suspense, but also cozy fantasy because I just finished playing Ale & Tavern

Mood reader when I’m picking things out, then absurdly stubborn when I start reading something. I read a lot of samples but once I commit I haven’t DNF’d a book in almost 3 years.

I usually have two going at once. A fantasy or sci-fi at home and a mystery or thriller for the commute to work.

Used to be a cannot start the next thing till I’ve finished the current thing and cannot DNF no matter what reader. Now I’m a lunatic mood reader and KU has only made it worse.

I was so proud of myself because I finally DNFed a book last year 😂 it still haunts me 🙃

KU has definitely made my mood reading more pronounced. But I don’t care, because it is fun and I read more than I use to with that kind of freedom.
