Well except for native Americans all of us will lose our citizenship. Um, do I want to be sent back to Denmark Slovakia or Wales. Tough choice. My grandparents were all immigrants. My dad couldn't speak English until he went to school. I'm leaning towards Wales. My dad never taught us Slovak.

Agreed, bone up on Article V of the US Constitution known as the Amendment Clause. This is the only way to repeal birthright citizenship.

Two ways to get around the 14th amendment: 1) have the US Supreme Court say the writers of the Amendment didn’t mean birthright citizenship in that way.

I completely agree it’s unconstitutional. But they have a theory that the “under the jurisdiction” language somehow makes it possible to argue that the undocumented immigrants are a combatant force and therefore don’t fit within the definition. And I don’t know how SCOTUS rules on that.

Who does all the crop harvesting, working in slaughterhouses and hotels, to name a few things that might be impacted? I live in Maine and most hotels have people from other countries as do restaurants. Then add blueberry crops and potatoes.
