Watched this game with my Dad. Hockey was not his sport but boy, did he love this team. He was over the moon joyful watching this bunch of misfit underdogs beating the best in the world.

I visited the Soviet Union around Easter that year. We had a popular magazine with us which had an article about the "miracle on ice" in it. The magazine was confiscated by border guards when we entered the CCCP.
