Take 20 minutes of your time to understand why we can never stop importing oil, and if Canada cuts it off, it will be a big problem.

It seems that Trump issued tariffs in order to sabotage the US economy, while demanding that The Fed lower the interest rate.
He would sabotage 20% of the US economy in order to lower the interest rate by 2% so that he could get a better deal on his debts.

Also it will be very hard to put anything in the gas tank when millions of Americans lose their jobs in a few months. During the Great Recession gas was $1.30 a gallon where I lived, but a lot of people didn't have a job.

"Car people" know it's because refineries are switching to "Summer Blend" which is more expensive. But it does feel good to get to point at gas prices and go "TRUMP DID THAT" to the idiots who don't know.

Also, the reason why it's come down is that the market expects a global recession due to the Trump trade war which means less demand for oil.
