I'm running them side by side for now, but I don't need much incentive at all to let X become my X if the fan base is here. I'm here for Leeds, and that is it. Don't need the shit that X throws your way at all.

After the riots in the summer, I really cut down on my Yusuf Twitter just been using it for specifically things to deal with the club very little interactions with others apart from the ones I was still following and not blocked

Pretty much gave up some months back now, only really open it to doom scroll. Made some good connections but couldn't care less about the site. Vileness everywhere, fucked up algorithms, full page ads with 2 tweets separating, blue tick spam killing actual interactions... And Elon...

I moved from X/Twitter after having been on there for 18 years. I’ve had my belly full of all the vile abuse and racism on that platform since Musk took it over. Anyone posting hate on my timeline will get unfollowed and blocked. I’ve just deactivated my X account.

I'm treating it as a new opportunity to do more than scroll. Say hi, comment on posts, and generally be a bit more social with the Leeds lot. I loved the Leeds chat, but it got masked by bot stuff too much. Just need to remember to do my bit in engagement now 😂
