You can find a bunch of old issues of InQuest magazine, which covered TCG's heavily in the 90s, floating around online, including a variety of X-Files articles

I haven’t played it in over a quarter century but I do recall that it was, like many other TCGs of that time, an incomplete game.
At its core, there is a game here that might have been great if it did not have the random collectible booster element.
