I didn't realize how addicted I was to it until I deleted it lol, I'm not american but it became too... I don't know, it felt off after they unbanned it. What made me not go back just for fun is that this feeling of boredom made me too aware of how much I used it to fill up any quiet moment.
Nah i personally deleted that shi on purpose cuz once I heard the ceo was working with the Trump administration i knew it was going to turn into the new Twitter or they were just going to start dragging it with the ban. Plus, it started to get really annoying towards the end with all the ads
I'm glad I deleted it. Account and all. Fuck an app run by someone that will tongue Trump's asshole. As soon as I saw the message claiming they will work with President Trump to get it back, I yeeted everything related to that app. Lmfao
I deleted TikTok when my account got flagged for saying people under the age of 18 were minors… at that point I was 100% done with the app (no my comment wasn’t restored when I appealed the decision)
I didn’t delete it but I haven’t been back on. Well, I clicked on it a couple of times by habit. But I don’t trust it anymore. It wouldn’t be the same.
it’s not, i heard they heavily censored it. lots of keyword searches & such gone. immediate flagging when mentioning certain words or using certain hashtags.
Me too. And honestly I’m ok with that. Shou Chew sold the fuck out, so the only thing I’d do if I got the app back is delete my account. I’ve found the important people I used to follow on other platforms.
for the most part that’s what we’re all doing. i really expected them to stand on banning the app the turn around was way too swift to trust it came back the same.
Omg you jumped off before it went dark? Yeah! It looked something like this. (my own screencap is no longer on my phone, so a pic from the internet will have to do for now)
