That second half was symptomatic of a long-term cultural pathology at Newcastle United. I can’t remember a recent era when we weren’t prone to taking our foot off the gas when cruising comfortably. I’m not defending the performance, just highlighting the difficulty in overcoming something like that.

I don't want to complain too much because the result was exactly what we needed. That second half though was abysmal. Sad back far to much and fail in everything defensively and in the middle of the park. Look at the positives of the first half and the win though #nufc
