He’s undoubtedly brilliant but for an Aussie to truly rate him, he needs to score heavily there. He hasn’t scored a century in Oz and averages 35 in those conditions. Sachin’s scored 6 and averages 53 in Oz.

Unfortunately whatever runs he scores he won’t be considered in that Tendulkar Lara echelon until he gets the Ashes monkey off his back. I’d back him to do that though.
