#avfc such a frustrating season. But there is still so much to play for. We need a bit of a run with our players fit so we can field an organised side. Think it’s unlikely we will qualify for Europe through the league but it could still be a miracle season and let’s have a look with 5 games to go.

#avfc the next two away PL games are potentially winnable. Personally I think we need to win 8 out of the next 11 to stand a chance of top 6 so these games are almost must wins. But 1 game at a time and see where we are with 5 to go. Good thing is we play a lot of the teams around us too.

#avfc just seeing Andy Robertson of Liverpool on Motd reminded me of incident at VP last week where by one of our fans on about row 2 was shouting dogs abuse at him. Just smiled and asked calmly if he was shouting at him or the linesman 😂 Fair play. Got a round of applause from plenty of Villa fans.

#avfc I’m fascinated to see what Emery does in the summer at LB. In my mind logically, Digne as an older, more expensive option would be phased out and Maatsen gradually takes over. But I’d be really concerned atm of playing Maatsen with Pau as the left side of the defence in a 4.
