no thanks, I was veeeeeeery well informed about US politics last year, but after the "election" whenever I read "trump says" or "musk said" i just keep scrolling
Oh, what does 16th-century English history have to teach us about the consequences wrought by a huff-snuff who arrogates an unprecedented amount of executive power and tears apart the domestic fabric and international order for selfish...
What Ukraine don’t have is a letter from “The King” .

Sadly the US is a country that will be desperately weakened on the world stage. Eg when Russia, only 55 miles away decides to grab Alaska - the US will be on its own. Trump/Vance/Putin will have dismantled NATO, and the Arctic Council.

Kick it up a notch Susie!
Ah, right. Got it.
"Huff-snuff" sounds too much like Richard Stanyhurst's "wind feign huff puff = woman"
I guess there's no olde EN for "Mafia mobster" ‽

I believe it's exactly the same in America.
I like the def in my OED: A conceited fellow who gives himself airs and is quick to take offence; a braggart, hector.
It doesn't mention any white houses.
Cite from 1598: a huffe snuffe, one that will soone take pepper in the nose.
We can but hope!
🍊 huff-snuff showed his true colours today, & if I'm not mistaken, it's yellow, with a hint of patheticness.
