Possibly but if we only got 60 points then Bth/Chel only need 5 wins and a couple of draws from 12 games to stay ahead of us, Newc Man C 5 wins and 1 draw. At the moment that seems a stretch to me to see any of them not getting that. We need a bit of good fortune I think. - ThreadSky

I'll need to see some evidence that our away form is going to improve before I start to have any hopes we can get europe personally. I think we will improve going forward but think we've left far too much to do. Chelsea with Southampton and LCFC up next so they could pull away if they don't collapse

it's all about that awful habit of conceding the first goal - we do it at home & i have faith that the crowd & general momentum of our home record will get us back into it.

If we didn't have so mamy away games, if NUFC, Bournemouth, Chelsea etc weren't so good and didnt have the games in hand then maybe. I'm more concerned with staying ahead of brighton, Fulham and Brentford than catching the others tbh. Think getting 8th will be a challenge from this point.

Having said that, there was a time point during emerys first season where I thought getting conference league was impossible and there was also a point during last season where I thought we had definitely lost CL so never write anything off 100% with Mr Emery!
