You can download the PBS app and/or donate $5.00 a month for PBS passport. PBS does have conservative wealthy trusts who donate the big bucks like the Walton Family Foundation. I also believe the Zuckerbergs donate, but I need to look that up.

The PBS app is definitely worth it. The years when we were caregiving and could watch the shows we wanted because of the evenings taken up with the f-i-l, it was how I was able to keep up with certain shows.

The PBS app/ Sustainer monthly membership is amazing!! Nature and the British shows like Miss Scarlet are my jam. Highly rec. You get even more from the local PBS. Like WETA in DC has even more British shows and WTTW in Chicago has great local history/docs. You can choose any PBS station.

I use the PBS app for this and subscribe for the same amount via PBS passport (and tax deductible). It’s the same content, but without Amazon. It’s the one streaming service that I have no matter what, because even if I don’t watch all the time, it’s supporting a good cause.

I'm a monthly donor to my local channel and get some benefits, too. I think I donate $5/mo though maybe I increased over the years.
