That's a little higher than I'd expect to pay for Standard Eggs, but about in line for Fancy Eggs.

(In the uk standard eggs are cage or barn eggs, we banned battery. fancy are fully free range with special diets)

Went to Trader Joe’s the other day, which usually has the better deals on eggs, and their egg section was nearly empty and they were restricting customers to 1 dozen per customer. I’ve heard other popular stores have the same situation.
