NO NO NO!!! I am deaf in one ear as a result of a measles infection in childhood. I was also hospitalized and my survival was uncertain for awhile. I knew kids who were permanently paralyzed from polio before a vaccine was available. RFK is a lying lunatic. RESIST!

When I was a child - before the vaccine our whole neighborhood had measles. One girl lost her hearing; one 14 year old boy had encephalitis and was later institutionalized.

I went to grade school with a boy who wore hearing aids due to hearing loss from the measles. We all had measles in those days, I think our parents were a lot more nervous it than they let on.

These are mostly in the unvaxed or those with only one MMR shot.

But this one outbreak, geographically and calendar-wise, is huge.
