100% this. The BBC’s terrible coverage of Trump isn’t about bias. It’s a lack of understanding of what impartiality means. If the evidence points overwhelmingly in one direction, bothsidesing an issue is a failure of journalism.

I know some people like to point at Tories in positions of power to suggest that they're dictating BBC news coverage but I don't think you'll find many MAGA heads there. I don't think it's a conspiracy to make Trump look better but a systemic failure to choose accuracy over impartiality
