My toddler years were in the States, and I remember loving the stuff. Fast forward forty-odd very British years and I tried them again. Holy crap, they're somehow sweeter than sugar... I must have been off of my head as a toddler when eating them...

The filling for homemade Butterfingers is equal parts candy corn and peanut butter, medium heat in a nonstick pan until everything melts together. (Not as flaky as a real Butterfingers, but my nephew says they taste the same.)
