Can see the improvement in defence. If Utd sort out defending set pieces will be a much stronger defensive unit. At the moment they are costing too many silly goals.

United played well, contained the midfield and attacking threat. Bruno was not disciplined at times and forced to play another position. Overall great resilience and way to fight to the very end

Much like ETH, Amorim followed this up but they needed to play full 90min. Don’t think a secure XI has played a full 90 even with mount off in the first 10. The plan was there and the players stuck to it.

City had zero shots on target in the second half too… under ETH they would have had half a dozen at least. Haland was anonymous because of Maguire and Martinez

It was pretty lucky to get the win as City fell apart in the final minutes.

It was still a good team display to see United actually looking united for a change, but you need luck in football sometimes.
